I believed I could create a unique solution that would help solidify my future and solve a huge frustration for dogs and their people. Together we could live our best lives!

 

Over the past 10 years I’ve been living my best life as a dog care professional. I have walked a multitude of different dog breeds, in just about every weather condition possible and became an expert on backseat protectors and trunk liners in hopes of keeping my car clean. But the never-ending challenge of how to keep the dogs clean escaped me!

 

In my early days of caring for dogs, I experienced the best start to each day by walking five Golden Retrievers all together. I wish I could say that the copious amounts of blonde hair in my car and on my clothes was the worst part, but it wasn’t. It was rainy days, snowy days, and endless muddy days as we transitioned from season to season. The struggle to keep them clean while allowing them the freedom to run and exercise was a continual problem. The inclement weather or soft ground would cut short our enjoyable time so I could concentrate on how to return a clean dog. This was also an issue I shared with my clients: condo living pet parents, clean house fanatics, luxury car owners, sport and outdoor enthusiasts and anyone that has left the house with four boots on their dog to return with only 2 or 3. Like me, they were completely frustrated trying different options with no success.

 

Through decades of positions in sales, building strong customer relationships in the retail and corporate worlds, I learned how important it is to listen to your customers’ needs and identify their pain points. Nothing brought me more satisfaction and reward than finding solutions for their issues and ensuring a grateful client. I knew after extensive research there was no complete solution for avoiding a mucky dog and I didn’t have the answer. 2020 threw a wrench in our lives and like everyone during the pandemic, my professional life took a dramatic shift. With my livelihood hanging in the balance, as dogs were now staying home and being walked by family, I realized it was possibly time to reinvent myself once again. I started to think about those grueling mucky challenges when walking started up again, of the back breaking chore of cleaning dirty feet and bellies. It was so obvious this was my pain point and I started to think of what that solution would look like.

 

My Plan B was born in June 2021 and became 3 years of developing a unique suit that would change the mucky dog landscape. By working to solve a problem I was personally challenged with, I created what I believe is the UltiMutt Solution for mucky dogs everywhere. From the initial reactions to the prototypes, dog owners have shown an enthusiastic response and can hardly wait to get them on their dog. I’m so excited to see the positive changes MuckyDog Waders make in the valuable time you spend with your dog and the comfort, safety, and freedom they bring your best friend.
