The length from your dog’s front leg underarm to the floor.
Do not include the length of their paw
Open all ankle straps and back strap buckles in preparation.
1. Connect the front back strap closest to your dog’s head around the back of their neck
2. Slide one front paw into the corresponding leg by holding your dog’s leg by its elbow and guiding its paw down into the boot. Generally, they will want to put their leg down on the ground and after a couple of times, their leg and paw will slide in very easily.
3. Make sure the non-slip sole is on the bottom of your dog’s paw and its toes are close to the end of the boot.
4. Secure the hook and loop strap snugly around your dog’s ankle. If their paw starts to slide back out of the boot, secure the strap a bit tighter.
5. Repeat for the remaining legs, closing the middle and back strap as you go. Wait until the next step before tightening the straps.
6. Reach inside the top of each leg and locate the elastic cord and toggle and adjust each leg length to provide a custom fit for your dog. Slide the toggle down the elastic cord to secure the newly adjusted length. It will be easier to remove the wader if you release the toggle.
7. Adjust the second and third straps comfortably across their back creating a snug fit to keep the muck out.
