PAWSITIVE PROTECTION
With an integrated Soft Paw boot as an integral component of the MuckyDog Wader, your dog’s complete lower half is truly protected from a plethora of mucky scenarios.
A continuous piece of softshell fabric runs the entire length of the leg. There are no ankle seams or joins to dig in and catch on dew claws.
Its soft feel allows your dog to adjust quickly and doesn’t hinder their ability to walk naturally.
The sole and toe of the boot are covered by a durable non-slip fabric made out of polyester and rayon and coated with a PVC thermoplastic formulation that provide this product with excellent abrasion-resistance and waterproof and durable properties.
It is cold crack resistant to -30C and heat crack resistant to -40C

Multiple elastic treatments assist the 2-way stretch fabric to accommodate a variety of body sizes within their weight class.
Each leg length is fully adjustable with elastic cords and toggles to keep the length where it needs to be for ultimutt flexibility.
Our thoughtful approach to a customized fit ensures a snug and comfortable suit.
SUPERIOR SOFTSHELL
A fabric solution like the pack leaders MuckyDog Waders are made from Softshell fabric consisting of three layers guaranteeing excellent performance and comfort.

The outer layer is a high-density water-repellent polyester, which provides the garment with good resistance to external agents and a 2-way stretch.

The middle layer is a breathable membrane both water and wind resistant as well allowing moisture to escape without getting stagnate.

The inner layer ensures good thermal insulation whether mesh backed in the All-Weather Wader, or fleece lined in the Winter Wader. Both are pleasant in contact with your dog’s coat.
Softshell is thermo-adjustable, thanks to the internal membrane. This allows your pet to remain comfortable no matter what their energy level. Whether running and creating heat or casual walks in the neighbourhood, it allows your dog to maintain its body temperature and be ultimuttly comfortable.
UNDERSTANDING THE SOFTSHELL FABRIC
Softshell is a technical fabric made out of two or three layers. The outer layer is water repellent and stretchy featuring either 2-way or 4-way stretch. The middle layer is both water and wind resistant as well as being breathable.
The softshell is composed of three layers of different materials, which guarantee excellent performance:

The outer layer is in high-density water-repellent polyester, which provides the garment with good resistance to external agents, with rain or snow;

The middle layer is instead a breathable membrane, thus allowing moisture to escape, without stagnating or wetting the interior

The inner layer is made of lightweight mesh, allowing for heightened breathability. Coming soon The MuckyDog Winter Wader will feature a microfleece layer which ensures good thermal insulation and is pleasant to contact with the skin.
The three layers are coupled, thus becoming a very light, elastic, and soft material, which offers resistance to wind and weather, maintaining good breathability and freedom of movement.

The structure of the fabric allows perspiration, and on the contrary preventing the penetration of external elements.

The softshell garment is thermo-adjustable, an intrinsic feature that is made possible thanks to the presence of an internal membrane.

The fabric also has high elasticity characteristics. This allows excellent adaptability to movements.

When I started this project, it was important for me to incorporate life changing opportunities by contributing to charitable organizations that assist in the welfare of all animals. Little did I know that I could take it a step further by using a globally-trusted, sustainable and recycled polyester fabric that produces fewer carbon emissions instead of virgin polyester.
REPREVE® is transparent, traceable, and certified. The majority of a MuckyDog Wader is compromised of fabric made of 16 post-consumer plastic bottles per meter that were diverted from the waste stream!
